ZINES
A collection of zines I have either made myself or have made in collaboration with others - such as with the zine society I was a part of at AUB, Bournemouth-based businesses, and submission-based zines.
THE GREEN ZEEN #1
I first made this zine at the beginning of university but didn't get the chance to print it until the end! This was the first zine I ever got professionally printed and the first project I collaborated on with artist Rosemary Chea (@illuroses) to make a goodie bag that could be bought alongside the zine. I enjoyed making lots of promotional material for it to post onto Instagram, content of which included revealing each product as it became ready to showcase. I sold the zines and bundles at AUB markets as well as public markets and received lots of positive feedback from it!

WORK MADE IN COLLABORATION WITH ROSEMARY CHEA:
THE GREEN ZEEN mini
For the second edition of The Green Zeen I decided to make a 'mini' version, only 14 pages long, that was all about the kitchen gardening ventures my family had during the summer. It acts as both a log of how we did things during each month and as a way to show how easily others can grow their own. The zine was written by both myself and my mum (and business partner) as this was a joint effort between The Green Zeen and From The Witch's Scullery, my other small business. I used the main fruit and vegetable illustrations I created for the zine and made them into stickers and mini originals that could be purchased as a bundle with the zine if desired.

'Places to Visit' Mini Zine Series
These zines are part of my new series 'Places to Visit', wherein I hope to create quick-to-read zines about interesting places to visit around the UK using my drawings and photographs, so that others can discover and appreciate them too.
I now have six zines in the collection!

Good Comics x AUB Zine Society Anthology
In an exciting collaboration with Bournemouth-based indie publisher Good Comics and AUB Zine Society, after inviting Good Comics into the university to talk about what they do, we got to creating our submissions. The theme could be either 'Deep' or 'Escape' or both and we had a limit of up to 4 pages for our comics. My submission was kindly accepted into the anthology! The zine was printed at the beginning of Summer 2022 and has been sold at zines fairs as well as on the Good Comics website.
Drama Proof Pigeon Club Issue #3
I had the pleasure of having my submission featured in Drama Proof Pigeon Club's third zine along with more than 30 other amazing artists. The theme for this issue was 'Myth and Monsters. (And Dinosaurs, too…)' so I combined my love for The Legend of Zelda with the zine's overall theme of birds and pigeons, and created a spread depicting the things an adventuring pigeon might carry around with them.
More information about the zine can be found on their website here.

My coloured version of the piece.
SANCHA x AUB Zine Society Spring Zine
A risograph zine based on the theme of 'What does Spring mean to you?' made in collaboration with local baker SANCHA and AUB Zine Society. Submissions included the small business owner's own recipe and a variety of artwork from other artists. The society made the zines and the batch was split between SANCHA and the society to be sold at markets. SANCHA also placed the zine in their cookie boxes. 'Sight Seaing' zine
An accordian zine made with AUB Zine Society. We organised a society trip to Bournemouth's Oceanarium and encouraged members to draw the creatures we saw. I took charge of the project, creating the intial concept for the zine, explaining it to the members on the trip, and collecting the submitted artwork. I then began creating the final zine by first drawing the background and objects - rocks, seaweed and shells. Then, I inserted the submissions and filled the entire spread with them to make the zine look like a tank at the Oceanarium itself. When releasing the zine, I filmed a step-by-step process video on how to print and fold it for the society Instagram page.
